Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.
Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.
This season is not easy, the hardest I've been through
But You walk with me
I don't know what each day brings and need to rely on You
Because You carry me
You've seen my tears and heard my anxious prayers
You listen to me
There's only so much that I can bear
And you say, “Come to me”
I'm not finding joy in the suffering but have hope in Your plan
Because You love me
And through this, you'll mold me with Your hands
Into who you want me to be.
I know you're calling me to draw closer to you
Because You care deeply
And I'll recall your promises so true
You will never leave me
I'll hold onto You
I'll keep on praying
I'll keep on believing
It goes without saying
I won't give up
You won't give up on me
And this will all be used
For your glory.
Amen.

So sorry for your pain, nothing more lonely and alienating than suffering. Praying for you, Jill, I can empathize with your wait for deliverance. It will come. Jesus will come.
“… the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials…”
