Changeless and Constant

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

Hebrews 13:8 ESV

How uneasy it is to deal with change
To not know what to expect or what will be rearranged

Or to experience loved ones growing older
Friendships that end or hearts that grow colder

It's not easy navigating this life of change 
But one thing will always remain the same

God is love and God is good
He is never changing and it is understood…

He is faithful, strong, steadfast, and true
He will always be there, never leaving you

There are times in life when change is too much
We long for stability and someone to trust

His name is Jesus, the Beginning and End
He knows your heart and He is your friend.

He is your rock and fortress so strong 
To Him you are precious, to Him you belong.

So when the changes of life make you scared
Reach out and take hold of the hand He shares

He has loved you before you were even born 
And will see you through life's greatest storms

Cling to the One who never changes
To Him who is faithful throughout the ages

Give him your cares and worries to bear
You're secure in His arms - they are always there.
