Equipped for Everything

All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

When feeling small or not strong at all
Or unsure of God's plan or divine call
There is a source where we can go
Where God will speak and His power flows

Even when we are lost or unsure
His words are medicine, a helpful cure
And when you're at the end of your rope
In God's holy Word are doses of hope…

God speaks today just as He always has
And all His promises will come to pass 
We can count on Him and His living word
And hear His voice as others have heard

But what to do with what we hear 
Is to apply our faith, without fear
To do the good works in daily life
To bring others hope and lessen strife

He promises to give us what we need
So we can carry out every good deed
And carry His message of love and grace
In everyday situations we will face

Although it's not easy because life can be hard
Let's look to God and be on our guard
Let His Word instruct and speak to our hearts
So we can go forth and do our part.
