Isaiah 9:6
For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
This time of year, all that you see…
are cheesy Christmas movies on TV.
A reindeer saves Christmas with his glowing nose.
And Santa needs help fighting his foes.
The theme is the same, the story repeated…
We can save Christmas if we only believe it.
But, we don’t need to save Christmas, Christmas saved us!
God became flesh through the baby Jesus.
He had a plan to conquer sin and death.
So that by believing in Him, we’d have eternal breath.
Life would have hope. This hope gives us life.
No more fears, tears or despair. No more endless strife.
Christmas saved us - We have hope for each day!
Christ is our hero! Not Santa on a sleigh.
Let’s remember who saved us with love so true!
Not Rudolph or Frosty or Cindy Lou Who.
Although these stories might make you smile.
The hero of Christmas is Jesus...
Who makes living life worthwhile!

AMEN!!
