Sacred Simplicity

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

You are so loved. And you will never truly know how much the God of this universe loves you. He died and rose again for you because he didn’t want death to be the end, but rather the beginning of a glorious eternity. He knows your thoughts and loves you. He understands what you are feeling and loves you. He loved you before you were born and loves you every moment of every day, even at your worst.

Because that is who God is. He is gracious. He is good. And He is love. His love will seek you out and call you back home. His love will hold your hand through the raging storms of life. His love will transform you, challenge you, and always give you what you need. His love is real and it is always there. There is no end to His love for you. This sacred simplicity is grounding, profoundly freeing, and perpetuates a peace that cannot be understood. My Jesus loves me. This I know. ❤️
