Lord Over All

He is Lord over all
Even when my head is spinning
He knows every ending 
And plans for new beginnings

He is Lord over all 
And He knows how I am feeling
He's been where I have been
When this world has sent me reeling

He is Lord over all
Even when I don’t understand 
He asks me to trust Him
And to believe He has a plan

He is Lord over all
And can quiet all the noise
He asks for me to seek Him
But I always have a choice…

To believe he is Lord over all
Or to ignore his Power and Might
To attempt to control chaotic days
And rule the frights of night

Let me claim He is Lord over all
And believe with all my soul 
Find peace in my mind and my heart
And know He’s in control

I’ll give each day and hour to Him
Even when I feel so small
For He is great and He is good
He is the Lord over all.
