Life Prayer

I give my life over to you

I pray that you will see me through

And that your blessings come my way

As you work through me from day to day

Oh Lord, your will, not mine be done

From when I wake to the setting sun

Give me the wisdom and the grace

To seek you only, seek your face

Let my life show your peace and love

Share how you came from God above

To give us life and hope anew

If only we would trust in you

I pray I’ll know which way to go

And trust that you already know

You’ve been before me and my steps

You’re promises, you’ve always kept

Oh Jesus, you’re my strength and truth

You’ve shown me love, no more to prove

I ask you’ll guide me with your hand

I’ll walk with you and take a stand

Guide me, Lord Jesus. Guard my heart…

So I can do my given part

Work through me as your Spirit can

And fulfill your good and perfect plan
