Take Heart

I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.

John 16:33 ESV

He is who He is and He does not change
He is all powerful and remains the same 
Christ is a Healer, Deliverer, Friend.
He can make new beginnings from what seems like the end.

Like when He raised Lazarus from the dead 
He gave His life on the cross in our stead 
Only to be resurrected and conquer death 
So He could give us eternal breath!

May we boldly come to our God in prayer 
Believing that He is always there 
He can do the impossible with faith in our hearts
Going to God is the best place to start!

So while we may endure many trials on Earth 
We also have hope of a new rebirth 
In Him we have hope and we have peace
Not spared from suffering, we will have a reprieve

There will come a time when there will be no sorrow
Glorious days with endless tomorrows 
With our God who always deserves our praise
Cling boldly to Him all your days!
