Imagine how surprised Mary was to learn she was to be with child
When Joseph heard, he was extremely shocked and his reaction was anything but mild
But God had a plan and God had a way
He sees the path that is trod
Even with life's twists and turns, nothing surprises God
When there was no room in the inn and Mary was to give birth
They must have been shocked that the Son of God would be born among animals and dirt

God sees who you are and where you've been and who you're meant to be
He came to this earth to be with us because He so loves you and me
There are times we get surprised or shocked by the happenings of life
We worry and all the stress can cause fear, frustration, and strife
Put your hope in God who will see you through what may be a bumpy ride
And just like with Mary, you'll learn as you go, knowing He never leaves your side
He sees you, loves you, cares for you - which is why His Son He did send
Let Him walk with you and be your Guide, your Peace, and Faithful Friend
