And the heavens proclaim his righteousness, for he is a God of justice.
Psalms 50:6 NIV
He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.
Micah 6:8 NIV
May I act justly and learn to let go
Let God be the judge, He already knows…
How He can deal with human hearts best
May I do my part and learn to rest…
Rest and be still and know He is God
We need The Shepherd, His staff and rod
To help us to navigate when life gets tough
When people are callous, unkind, and rough
Thank God for His Spirit for speaking to souls
For fixing the broken and making them whole
For finding the lost and for softening hearts
No one’s beyond hope when God is in charge
In stressful situations, be my calm
Soothe my soul as a healing balm
Let me look to you for ultimate peace
May anger, wrath, and frustration cease
May I only reflect my loving Creator
Who became a sacrifice and Savior
Help me to do what's right and always learn
How to act with love and how to discern…
How to be love in a hurting world
May the rough stuff of life reveal a pearl
Beauty from grit and light in the darkness
And peace in knowing my God of justice.

Thank you Jill, for reminding us of God’s Sovereignty and His righteous judgement. May we all submit ourselves to Him who judges rightly.
