And the heavens proclaim his righteousness, for he is a God of justice.

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭50:6‬ ‭NIV‬‬

From heaven the Lord looks down and sees all mankind; from his dwelling place he watches all who live on earth— he who forms the hearts of all, who considers everything they do.

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭33:13‭-‬15‬ ‭NIV‬‬

He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.

‭‭‭‭Micah‬ ‭6:8‬ NIV

As daily events continue to unfold
And stories of evil deeds are told
We wonder how justice will prevail
And how we've come so far to fail

Christ, Lord Jesus, God above
We need you now, we need your love
But also your righteous hand to hold
As we face the darkness and the cold

Have your way and make things right
Let your peace rule the day and every night
Soften the hearts that are so hard
May I not harden my heart and be on guard.

While we may not have it here and now
Justice will be yours, every knee to bow
You see what our eyes cannot see
May you render your justice and let it be

Our hearts are weary, but we have hope always
And must act justly in all our ways
Give us strength to love and to be kind
In a world where it seems we've lost our minds

Guide our minds, our souls, our hearts
Prompt us if we don't know where to start
To humbly walk and love we must
In you, oh God, we place our Trust

Amen.
