Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.

When life is too much and things don't seem fair

Know that someone else may be burdened with cares

They may have been given some very bad news

Maybe just days to live and not a moment to lose

Someone who doesn't have a roof over their head

Or a cozy couch or warm snuggly bed

Life is a gift that gives this and that

It's how you look at it and how you react

Love is the center of it all

You're here for a purpose, a unique call

Keep the faith, be humble and kind

Ask for God's help with your heart and your mind

Be grateful for the mountains, the hills, and the climb

And for the blessings that stand the test of time

Beauty, love, family, friends

Have hope in the journey from beginning to end

Life isn't fair, but oh the joy it brings

Whatever is good, focus on those things

Give thanks for your blessings

There are many without

And rely on God's promises

Let there be no doubt!
