“There’s so much more for you” is what I hear…

“If only you would draw close and near

Find me in prayer and in my word

And believe what you’ve read and what you’ve heard

Fix your eyes on me and I will work this for good

I have plans for your future as only I could

I am God of all, beginning to end

And I care for your life, for my son I did send…

to give you new life and a life so full

I want you to find rest, stop the push and the pull

Stop the worry and doubt, the need for control

I’ve got you, I love you, I want more for your soul

I’ve known you before and know you now

The hairs on your head and on your brow

There’s no need to fear and no need to fret

Your path is designed and already set

Just take my hand and hold it tight

I will never leave you, come day or night

You have my Spirit and you have my truth

Abide in me and I will abide in you

It’s you and me, child, and I’m so glad you’re here

I will guide and protect you, for you are so dear

Take my hand as you walk through this door

For there’s much more for you..so much more.

  1. This is so true. Sometimes we get so frustrated with our path and constantly ask “why me?” Or “God where are you in this?” And we get lost in anxiety and worry. Thank you for posting this to remind me that God is in everything and everything has a purpose. It’s HIS plan and we have to trust that His hand is guiding us through every step. ❤️
